Annual Grant
We are dedicated to discovering, preserving and studying all information pertaining to the rich history of Society Hill, South Carolina.
In accordance to our mission, we seek to assist local people and establishments to preserve and honor the past within our community.
Annual grants of up to $1000.00 are awarded to members of the Long Bluff/Society Hill community that apply for assistance to preserve, study or highlight the history of the area. The grant is open to individuals, groups, businesses or organizations within the 29593 zip code.
The Long Bluff Historical Society Leadership Team selects the winning project(s) for the year depending on the historical significance and impact of the idea(s) presented. Depending on the amounts requested more than one grant could be awarded within a given year. The grant award will be announced during the Taste of Society Hill in the spring.
All applications must be received by our extended deadline - April 30th, 2022. Applications can be submitted by mail (address is below), email, or dropped off at the Society Hill Town Hall. Copies of the Application can also be found at the Society Hill Library.
